Consider donating your time, skill, and expertise. From event volunteers to leaders for adult and youth nature walks, we’re always looking for a little help. By volunteering, you give back to your community in a meaningful way and help save the farms, forests, wetlands, and waters of the Eastern Shore.

Planned Giving

Your Legacy

Planned giving can benefit you and your family while protecting nature for future generations. Through planned giving you pass on your values and leave a lasting impact.

Estate Planning

You can make a gift in your estate plan by naming the Virginia Eastern Shore Land Trust as a primary or contingent beneficiary of your life insurance policy, retirement plan, financial accounts, personal property, real estate or other assets. There is no minimum gift. With a bequest you can leave a percentage of your estate or other assets.

Making a planned gift may provide tax savings or reduce the tax burden for your heirs. VES Land Trust recommends you consult with your financial or tax advisor and attorney or estate planner when establishing or revising your estate plans.

Naming Procedures

If you wish to name the Virginia Eastern Shore Land Trust in your estate plan, we should be named as:
